In small groups arranged by age and ability, every young skier enjoys personalised instruction within a supportive and inspiring environment. Through playful learning and steady progression, they will build a strong technique and a lifelong love for the mountains.
For adults, we offer tailored coaching designed around your goals and comfort level. Whether you’re stepping onto the slopes for the first time or refining advanced techniques, our expert instructors create a calm, supportive environment where learning feels effortless.
Each session is focused on your personal progression, with guidance that adapts to your pace and ability. You’ll gain confidence, improve control, and discover the joy of skiing without pressure.
If you’re staying at SkiStar Lodge Trysil or in the Fageråsen area, all group ski school lessons begin at the Høyfjellssenter - a wide, gentle, and safe ski area, ideal for learning. For your convenience, we also operate our own shuttle service for the short two-minute journey to the meeting point, should you be unable to ski there.
If you’re staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel or in the Turistsenter area, group lessons for children under 7 start in front of the SkiStar Guides building, while lessons for adults and children aged 7 and above start outside the Radisson Blu Hotel.
